Metaphysics:

branch of philosophy that treats first principles (includes ontology & cosmology & is intimately connected with epistemology); more generally philosophy, especially in its more abstruse branches


truths:

that which is learned from the natural sciences; timeless and which  repeats itself


facts:

that which is learned from history; symbols; they are singular & never repeat


savant:

a person of profound or extensive learning; a learned scholar.
